History of Easykart
Easykart is a concept that was developed in Europe combining the quality of the Birel chassis with Freeline components and the Parilla IAME motor package.
The whole concept centers around cost effective spec. class racing.
In plain words: Put the focus on the driver and off the check book without compromising performance and reliability.
Since the only modification to the kart allowed in a race under Easykart rules are:
1. Color of bodywork
2. Size of seat
3. Type of steering wheel.
The Colorado Easykart Series follows the WKA Rules
(In fact, the race director will designate the size sprocket that all racers will run on.)
This means they guy who shows up at a National STARS race with his kart in the back of his pickup truck has just as much chance of winning as they guy who has the unlimited budget and equipment.
In Easykart racing it all come down to the drivers skill.
As for price, a brand new Easykart 125 cost on average $1000 less than it’s competitors in it’s class.
And is that only kart that offers a true spec. class on the local and national level.
The Easykart concept was brought to America by world famous F-1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya and his father who brought him up in karting in South America.
Easykart America is ran by Pablo Montoya but don’t be surprised if you see Juan Pablo show up at an Easykart event.
